Longevity training is for people over 40 with energy decline, stubborn fat, low fitness, stress, aches and sleep problems.
We aim to achieve fitness markers of someone 10 years younger, we lift weights to build bone density and build muscle. Our endurance training has purposeful intensity not all out efforts every session. We don’t risk injury and are guided by our goals of the future not by our ego.

The Assessment
In collaboration with our partners at Swiss licensed labs you are referred to get a blood testing panel of results including:
HbA1c (glycaemic control over ~3 months)
Fasting glucose
Lipid panel (Total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, Triglycerides)
hs-CRP (systemic inflammation)
CBC (complete blood count) (incl. haemoglobin/haematocrit)
Ferritin (iron stores; fatigue/endurance limiter if low)
CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) (kidney/liver function, electrolytes; safety baseline)
TSH (thyroid screening for fatigue/weight issues)
25-OH Vitamin D
Fasting insulin (pairs with fasting glucose for insulin resistance context)
Total testosterone + SHBG
If there are red flags, your Dr will guide you. Through consultation with your Doctor we adjust training, accordingly, make lifestyle/sleep recommendations and our Nutritionist guides changes to your diet and may recommend supplementation. For example, Vitamin D.

We review in house testing benchmarks each 8 – 12 weeks and adjust training type, volume and/or frequency as needed to keep motivation high and progress sustained.

Do you replace a Doctor?
No, we are the bridge between external testing from the expertise of Swiss licensed labs and your results in the gym. We shine the light on your path to success through movement and recovery.
We use a series of Strength tests that are safe and repeatable throughout your life. We use the barbell and bodyweight exercises for the majority. Two examples are a 5 rep max Back squat and max chest to ground pushups.
For V02 we use a portable testing device from V02 master that is performed on a stationary bike, each minute intensity increases until exhaustion and the maximum amount of oxygen that your body can take in, transport and use are measured.
